Summary
The play
Start building something and post a numbered diary every day with views, sign-ups and revenue; post each follower milestone; promise a face reveal at 10K and keep it.
Can you copy it? Our read
The method: start building something and post a numbered daily diary with real small numbers, about four main posts a day, plus a post at each follower milestone and a monthly income report. His "9 months" includes five months of almost no posting; the daily stretch to 10K was 120 days. Some later recaps state his starting count lower than his own June posts.
- What it takes
- A product in progress, about four posts a day, and replies (he says 15–20 people a day).
- Startup cost
- Time, plus X Premium, which he says he bought.
- Time to a verdict
- He went from about 30 to 1,000 followers in his first month of daily posting (self-reported).
- Window
- Build-in-public diaries are common; exact daily numbers and a low, honest start stood out in his sample.

Each bar is one day, in date order; its height is how many main posts (originals, quotes and articles; not replies) went out that day. This chart counts posts per day rather than listing each post. May 2–3, 2026 read zero for every account we track: a gap in the data.

Follower counts before today are his own posts (self-reported); X does not publish follower history. Daily post counts are complete. Views are as of Nov 8, 2026. May 2 and 3, 2026 show 0 posts because of a data gap for every account we track, not a break.
Their own numbers, checked
He posted his progress often, so many of his claims can be checked against each other and against his post counts:
| What he said (self-reported) | What the data shows (fact) | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| "My 9-month journey on X — from 0 to 10K+ followers" (Oct 24) | First main post Jan 3, 2025; 10K on Sep 29. But Feb–May had 18 main posts; daily posting started Jun 1, about four months before 10K | The dates hold; the real growth stretch is about 4 months, not 9 |
| "Barely touched 30 followers in the first 5 months" | 18 main posts from February to May | Holds: he barely posted |
| Posting 5 a day for 4 months (Oct 14) / 4–5 a day (Aug 27) | Jun–Sep 2025: 518 main posts, about 4.2 a day | Holds, for main posts |
| Four months earlier he had 100 followers (Oct 21) / 100 days from 100 to 9.8K (Sep 28) | He posted 500 on Jun 18 and 1,000 on Jun 24; four months before Oct 21 is about Jun 21 | Doesn't match: by his own posts he already had 500–1,000 then; the starting point is stated lower |
| Started building his first SaaS on Jun 1 and shared every step | 156 main posts in June, every day from Jun 1 except Jun 5, 6 and 10 | Holds |
| Replies to 15–20 people a day (Aug 27) | We did not count replies; total posts minus main posts is about 8,600 | Can't check |
