Summary
The play
Build something that earns first; come back to X and post the numbers; reply all day; then write one long guide with the result in the title.
Can you copy it? Our read
What you can copy is the order: build until there's a number, post the number, reply all day, then write one long guide. What you can't copy is the business behind the screenshots. Fits a founder with real revenue to show.
- What it takes
- A product that earns, and enough months of it to write a guide.
- Startup cost
- Your time; the money goes into the product, not X.
- Time to a verdict
- Judge it two weeks after you come back with numbers: his first two weeks had a median of 23,415.
- Window
- App revenue posts are everywhere on X; the detail and the consistency of your numbers are what set you apart.
Key findings
Same pace, different result
Before the pause he posted about one main post a day and stayed near 100 followers, he says. Back with revenue to show, his first two weeks had a median of 23,415 views. See play 2.1 (subscribers)
One article did the most
His Complete Guide article reached 1.97M views and 17,675 bookmarks. A week later he wrote that he had gained 3,000 followers that week. See play 2.3 (subscribers)
His recap is off on two points
"Posting daily" was about every other day. "$20K a month when I came back" was about $15K by his own November post. The pause and the article's timing check out.
Replies faded, and the app ended
Replies fell from 967 in January 2026 to 55 in September. In October he posted that Prayer Lock was terminated; his bio still says $100K a month. See play 3.1 (subscribers)

Each bar is one day, in date order; its height is how many main posts (originals, quotes and articles; not replies) went out that day. This chart counts posts per day rather than listing each post. May 2–3, 2026 read zero for every account we track: a gap in the data.

Their own numbers, checked
His March 2026 recap explained how he grew. We checked what can be checked against the public posts and daily post counts:
| What he said (self-reported) | What the data shows (fact) | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| "last year i was posting daily with zero traction" | Dec 2024 to Mar 2025: main posts on 60 of 121 days, 120 in all, about one a day; replies then were not counted. His year recap puts early 2025 at about 100 followers (self-reported) | Does not hold for "daily": he posted main posts about every other day. "Zero traction" fits his own 100 followers |
| "so i stopped for 8 months" | Last main post Mar 27, 2025; back Nov 14, 2025, about 7.6 months. None April to August, 2 each in September and October | Holds, for main posts |
| "by the time i came back i was at $20k/month" | His comeback-week post says "$30,000/ARR"; on Nov 30 he posted $14,764.68 for November; he first wrote $20K a month on Dec 27 | Does not hold: by his own November posts, about $15K a month when he came back, $20K by late December |
| "9,000 followers in 3 months, 3,000 in the last week" | No follower history. He wrote 2,000 on Dec 27 and 2,500 on Dec 31 | Can't check; it fits his own year-end numbers |
| "my 3k new followers came from one article that went viral" | The article had 1,972,348 views and 17,675 bookmarks, six days before the recap; the next-best post of Feb–Mar 2026 in the sample had 342,946 | Holds on timing and size; where followers came from can't be seen |
| "took me 8 hours to write" | — | Can't check |
| App launch date: April 2025 (his one-year post) or June 2025 (his year recap) | — | Can't check; his two posts disagree |
| Bio: "bootstrapped to $100k/month" | In October 2026 he posted that Prayer Lock had been terminated | Can't check, and now out of date |
