High frequency: an Indian CS student posted a dozen times a day and reached 1,000 followers in 48 days
Ojas, a final-year computer science student in India, started posting tech content on Oct 17, 2025 with about 100 followers. He posted 10–27 main posts and about 60 replies a day, joined a circle of Indian tech accounts that shout each other out, and turned his interview notes into a free website. He says he hit 1,000 on day 48 and 5,000 by the end of March 2026, then stalled around 5,000–5,500 for three months. Today he has 8,004.

Each bar is one day, in date order; its height is how many main posts (originals, quotes and articles; not replies) went out that day. This chart counts posts per day rather than listing each post. May 2–3, 2026 read zero for every account we track: a gap in the data.

Their own numbers, checked
He posted a milestone at nearly every hundred and thousand, and wrote a recap on Medium. We checked what can be checked against the public posts and daily post counts:
| What he said (self-reported) | What the data shows (fact) | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| "Started posting on X just for fun on 17th October" | Daily main posts jump from Oct 15 (8, 15, 13, 23…) | Holds |
| "0 to 6,000 followers in just 8 months" | Elsewhere he gives his start as 90 or 146 followers; Oct 17 to Jul 5 is 261 days, about 8.6 months | Mostly holds: he started near 100, not 0 |
| "I started posting regularly 70 days ago… 146->2937" (Jan 13) | 70 days before is Nov 4; elsewhere 146 is his count on Oct 22, and he says he started Oct 17 | Off: three start dates (Oct 17, Oct 22, Nov 4) |
| "my 4000th post" (Nov 6), "14k posts later" (Mar 22) | 1,222 main posts in that span, and 8,814 replies (fact) | Holds, counting replies |
| "Wild how fast things move when you're not even trying that hard" (at 1,000) | 483 main posts in the 30 days from Oct 15, up to 27 in a day | Does not hold: the effort was large |
| "1,000 away from 500k" (Mar 22) | He doesn't say 500K of what | Can't check |
| Bio: three sites with "50k+ / 190k+ / 700+ Users" | — | Can't check |
